One shared way of working
New staff learn the Framework properly rather than picking it up second hand, so practice is consistent across sites and shifts.

The professional learning
Professional learning for the adults doing the work. The Academy teaches The WILD Framework™ as practice: how to keep a young person safe, build a relationship that holds, and move a young person forward. It then asks practitioners to evidence that they can do it.
For organisations
New staff learn the Framework properly rather than picking it up second hand, so practice is consistent across sites and shifts.
Completion, assessed written work and sign-off are recorded, so you can show how your team is trained and not just that they attended something.
Written work is submitted and reviewed by an authorised assessor. A certificate is only issued when the work meets the standard.
Practitioner levels and certifications belong to the individual, so they travel with them between roles and organisations.
For individual practitioners
WILD Practitioner is the professional identity held by anyone with an active level, it is not the name of a level. There are five levels in the core pathway.
Entry practitioner level. Understands the foundations of The WILD Framework™ and begins applying them appropriately in practice.
Understands how special educational needs, disabilities, neurodivergence, physical and medical needs, mental health and trauma may present in practice, and adapts WILD practice safely, respectfully and responsively to individual need.
Demonstrates competent application of The WILD Framework™ in real practice, rather than simply completing further theoretical learning.
Demonstrates deeper, confident and reflective application of WILD, including more complex practice.
Able to lead, support and develop WILD practice in others and/or within services.
Portal software training is a separate operational course. It is never part of a WILD practitioner level, and assessments never test how to navigate the software.
